Luke Dalchow is the owner of the company and takes great pride in the trusted reputation his team continues to build throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota.

Before entering the home inspection industry, Luke built an award-winning career in B2B sales and leadership. He managed sales teams of more than 30 people and was responsible for operations spanning as many as 14 states. That experience shaped his approach to leadership and reinforced the importance of clear communication, attentive service, accountability, and earning clients’ trust.

In early 2023, Luke purchased his first home inspection franchise. Since then, the company has expanded to five franchises serving communities throughout Wisconsin, the Twin Cities metro, and greater Minnesota. Luke has continued to grow a talented, client-focused team while maintaining the personalized service and attention to detail clients expect from a locally owned business. In 2025, he received Pillar To Post’s Brand Champion Award, recognizing the franchise owner who best represents the organization’s values and standards.

Luke believes a great home inspection should provide more than a list of findings—it should give clients the knowledge and perspective they need to make confident decisions. His approach combines thorough inspections with practical guidance and straightforward communication. The goal is never to unnecessarily alarm buyers, but to help them understand the home, prioritize their concerns, and feel prepared for successful homeownership.

Luke lives in Hudson, Wisconsin, with his wife and their two young children. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, fly fishing, and hosting the occasional friendly poker night at the team’s office in historic downtown Hudson.

She is passionate about serving as a trusted resource, creating lasting connections, and helping the company continue to grow while maintaining the high standards of service and integrity it is known for.

Katie is excited to join the team and contribute to the company’s continued success alongside her husband. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her two young children, reading, golfing, and listening to true crime podcasts.

I am a licensed home inspector with a background that blends science, construction, and problem solving. I hold a master's degree in exercise physiology, which sharpened my attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to evaluate complex systems-- skills that translate directly to thorough, methodical home inspections. 

I've always enjoyed building, creating projects, and understanding how things work. Home inspection allows me to combine that hands-on mindset with technical knowledge to evaluate homes accurately and communicate findings clearly. 

As a husband of over 10 years and a father to a four-year-old son, I understand how important a home purchase is-- not just financially, but for a family's future. My goal is to help home buyers feel informed, confident, and empowered in their decision by providing honest, detailed inspections they can trust.

Tom is a seasoned professional who has joined the Dalchow Team as both a Home Inspector and Operations Manager. With extensive experience in public relations and operational management, Tom is dedicated to helping the Dalchow Team become a trusted leader in home inspections across the Twin Cities Metropolitan area.

Outside of work, Tom channels his passion into rebuilding vintage campers and tackling various building projects. He also loves camping and cherishing quality time with his grandchildren. Tom’s diverse skills and personal interests contribute to his well-rounded approach and commitment to excellence in the home inspection industry.

Robert & Nancy Allender

Robert is an ASHI member, licensed in Wisconsin, NEHA-NRPP, AARST Licensed in Radon Measurement and Laboratory Services and an MDH Licensed Radon Professional.

Robert holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Roosevelt University

Dan Johnson is an experienced home inspector with nearly three decades in the construction industry. Over the course of 29 years, he progressed from hands-on labor to a quality control specialist role, developing a comprehensive knowledge of building practices, safety standards, and structural integrity.

Today, Dan leverages that expertise to deliver detailed, trustworthy home inspections, helping clients feel confident in one of life’s most important investments.

Based in Hudson, Wisconsin, Dan lives with his wife and three children. In his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, golfing, and spending time with animals.

Brad Butler
Director of Strategic Growth

Brad lives in Somerset, Wisconsin, and brings more than 20 years of leadership, operations, sales, and business development experience to the team. Throughout his career, he has worked in a variety of fast-paced and constantly evolving industries, including fitness, hospitality and entertainment, franchise businesses, and the building trades.

He has a proven track record of helping businesses grow while maintaining the personalized service and customer experience of a small business.

As Director of Strategic Growth, Brad is responsible for identifying new growth opportunities for our team and expanding the home services we offer. He specializes in taking ideas and turning them into detailed, actionable plans, with a strong focus on communication, execution, and exceptional service.

His first priority will be launching and growing our sewer scope division, including developing the processes, systems, and team needed to support this new service. This will be the first of many future growth initiatives he will help lead.

Outside of work, Brad enjoys spending time with his spouse and their five children. He also enjoys coaching, golfing, boating, riding his Harley, and the occasional date night followed by some late-night dancing somewhere in the St. Croix Valley.
